In January 2014, The Estonian Convention Bureau announced that Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa became a member of ECB. The Estonian Convention Bureau is a non-profit organisation established jointly by the public and private sectors whose goal is to coordinate the introduction of Estonia as a conference destination and increase the amount of international conferences held in Estonia.

“Over the past five years, Unique Hotels Group has developed Vihula Manor into the biggest manor complex in the Baltics and a holiday resort offering good quality accommodation, catering, spa and conference services. Vihula has become more known, new services and products have been developed keeping in mind the satisfaction and needs of the clients. Today, Vihula Manor is an excellent venue for organising international conferences,” said Heikki Vanhanen, a member of the board of Vihula Manor. The manor offers nine seminar rooms, fitting 400 guests all in all. The largest conference room can accommodate 120 people and is also suitable for gala dinners and concerts.

Part of the Unique Hotels Group, Vihula Manor is set on a historic estate in Lahemaa National Park, one hour's drive from Tallinn. Its 27 buildings date back to the 16th century, while its spa and sauna centre are the newest and its restaurant was included in the list of Estonia's top 50. All this makes Vihula a great combination of rustic charm and modern luxury.

Estonian Convention Bureau aims to increase awareness of Estonia as a conference destination of international competitiveness and achieve growth in the number of international conferences and reduce the seasonality of tourism. "Vihula Manor, as a member of the ECB, can increase more successfully the number of international conferences held in the manor and reduce the seasonality of tourism," said Heikki Vanhanen. "Additionally, we can promote better Lahemaa National Park as a destination for several day conferences and an excellent place for leisure activities."

Unique Hotels is an Estonian hotel chain that operates four hotels – the budget City Hotel Tallinn, the business class Kreutzwald Hotel Tallinn, the historic, boutique style, business class The von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn and the business class leisure and conference centre Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa in Lahemaa National Park.
